The 2024 Caspar lecture was given by given by Dr. Cynthia Wolberger, Professor of Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine on Tue, Apr 16, 2024. She spoke about "Histone Modifications in Transcription and Beyond".
2024 Spring Retreat
The 2024 IMB Spring Retreat was at Wakulla Springs State Park on Sat, Apr 13, 2024. Students, staff, post-docs, faculty and their families joined retreat of puzzle solving, games, and food.
2024 Kasha Lecture
The 2024 Kasha lecture, Kasha award and Caspar award ceremony was held on Tue, April 9, 2024 at KLB 112. The 29th Annual Kasha Lecture "Beyond Icosahedrons: The Many Faces of Virus-Like Particles", was given by Dr. Mykhailo (Misha) Kopylov, Ph.D, Scientist/NCITU Manager, NYSBC, NY.
The 2024 Kasha Award was given to Mr. Liang Chen and Dr. Yu Zhao. The 2024 Caspar Award was given to Dr. Nidhi Walia.
