XRF Services
Starting Monday, July 02, 2018 all XRF services require a purchase order number and a line number before the work can begin.
Home Data Collection
The multi-user macromolecular X-Ray crystallography Facility (XRF) in the Institute of Molecular Biophysics (IMB) at the Kasha Laboratory Building (KLB) provides access to home X-ray source for screening macromolecular crystals using copper rotating anode generator under cryo and ambient temperatures conditions. Protein Crystallization Screening
To speed up the crystallization screening process, to reduce the errors involved in manual screening, and to explore more crystallization space with less macromolecule we have installed the Art Robbins Instruments Crystal Gryphon @ FSU 96-well crystal set-up robot. More >>>
Synchrotron Data Collection
Since 2000, FSU’s Institute of Molecular Biophysics X-Ray Facility (XRF) has been coordinating synchrotron data collection at the Advanced Photon Source at the Argonne National Laboratory. Since 2016 we have been coordinating synchrotron data collection at the Brookhaven National Laboratory’s National Synchrotron Light Source-II. More >>>
