ketchemDr. Randal Ketchem
Scientific Director
Amgen Biotechnology, Seattle WA

1995 Graduate of the FSU Molecular Biophysics Graduate Program
(Major Professor: Dr. Tim Cross)
1996 Winner of the Kasha Award for best student publication

I lead the cross-site multidisciplinary Protein and Antibody Optimization group, responsible for engineering all biologics going through Amgen’s pipeline. My research direction is focused on computational structural biology while also applying my skills to broader platform review and direction. Working in areas of antibody design, epitope mapping, molecular assessment, stability engineering, construct design, protein engineering and serving on therapeutic area teams to lead target development.
